Inspired by the marble mosaics of ancient Rome,
Lapicida’s new Roman Marble Mosaics collection is handcrafted in Italy using techniques passed down through generations. Each marble tessera is gently tumbled to create an authentic aged finish, rich in character and impossible to replicate with machine-made alternatives.
Currently available in nine carefully curated marbles, the marble tessera are assembled on 30 x 30cm mesh-backed sheets, which can be laid in a classic grid or cut and adapted to create bespoke borders, patterns and decorative details. Coordinating 10 x 10cm marble square tiles offer even greater design flexibility, making it easy to create a truly individual scheme.
Suitable for both walls and floors, Roman Mosaics bring timeless Italian craftsmanship to bathrooms, kitchens, hallways and beyond.
