Soie de Lune’s latest collection celebrates 20 years of innovation and artistry, exploring the company’s evolution through the decades. Each design represents an important milestone that has shaped the brand, forming a collection that embodies transition whilst recognising and honouring the beauty of timeless design. These classic Soie de Lune fabrics have been beautifully blended with contemporary ideas, creating an elevated collection of luxury handwoven fabrics.
Daniel and Pai, CEOs of Soie de Lune, returned to the Lao tradition of silk weaving at the roots to reinvent two of their classic designs in sumptuous silk. The rest of the collection features natural cotton, linen, and silk blends, each piece a contemporary echo of Soie de Lune’s past.
Each handwoven fabric tells a beautiful story; the threads are expertly woven by Laotian artisans, producing motifs and patterns steeped in tradition, ceremony, or simply reflecting daily life in Laos. These designs not only connect artisans to their heritage but invite others to experience the enduring beauty of Lao weaving. “In today’s fast-paced world, we need this sense of timeless craftsmanship more than ever”, says Daniel.
