Renowned London-based textile designer Neisha Crosland has created the Desert Garden wallpaper collection exclusively for
George Spencer Designs.
Following on from the success of her Japan collection for George Spencer Designs, Neisha Crosland has created 5 striking new designs inspired by an eclectic mix of nature, art and culture. Veering away from the subtle and delicate feel of the Japan collection, the Desert Garden wallpaper collection explores big and bold shapes in both neutral and vibrant colourways to suit a wide range of interior styles. Featuring powerful florals to calm geometric motifs, these wallpapers deliver daring style and personality in spades.
“The Desert Garden collection was sparked by a very special present given to me by my mother of a first edition book; it had beautifully printed colourful plates of famous costume designs by Leon Bakst, the artistic director of the Ballet Russes,” says Neisha. “It was exotic, vibrant and full of joy, and I decided that this was the spirit I wanted to create in my next body of work: big bold shapes of familiar but imaginary vegetation - plants, flowers, leaves and cactus.”
