Part of a complete conversion of an original 19th century farmhouse and its surrounding buildings, this spacious master bathroom takes advantage of the property’s fantastic views and achieves the ultimate in luxury bathing.
The brief to interior designer Sophie Head was to create a calming, tranquil space with well-crafted, stand-out pieces at its heart. To this end, Sophie specified Drummonds; renowned for their classic, English bathroomware, they were the obvious choice to achieve the desired ‘wow factor’.
The Tay bath takes centre-stage, sitting directly in front of the large apex window and is flanked on either side by two bespoke vanity units with antique mirror inlays, sleek marble tops and Drummonds’ Coll taps in a nickel finish.
Opposite the Tay bath, the back wall has been cleverly reconfigured to incorporate a generously sized walk-in shower space. Against a delicate backdrop of decorative mosaic tiles, double showers from Drummonds bring a sense of grandeur and emulate the look and feel of a spa-like wetroom.
