Inspired by the concept of a pried open bird cage, Ziad Alonaizy’s first furniture collection, AEGIS, symbolises empowerment and creative freedom, celebrating innovation and the release of ideas. Handcrafted in Italy, the furniture is sculptural and geometric, and is characterised by an exquisite lattice structure that provides beautiful decorative detailing.
The collection is comprised of a coffee, side and martini table as well as a console and mirror, all of which come with a choice of five metal finishes for the stainless-steel frame. Tabletops are available in either Classic or Contemporary finishes. Five striking marbles complete the Classic range, bringing a distinct character and decadent feel to the pieces. In contrast, the Contemporary tabletops are produced using 100% fused, recycled glass, in colour combinations that are inspired by endangered birds from around the world. Made using environmentally conscious manufacturing methods, the glass tops contain no chemicals, are free from resin and are 100% non-porous.
