Celebrating 45 Years of British Craftmanship with Martin Moore

29 Sep 20

Founded in 1975 as one of the very first handmade kitchen companies, Martin Moore’s hallmark style has always been classic, timeless, English furniture with a quality which transcends fashion. The style has never stood still though, and over the years a refined contemporary look has emerged.

To mark their 45th anniversary year, Design Director Richard Moore has designed a new, limited edition Butler’s sideboard. Inspired by the New Deco collection, it’s a contemporary take on a classic design and features beautiful  stained timber, fluted glass panelled doors and a quartz top. Also available in a bespoke handpainted finish, the sideboard comes with commemorative handles which can be finished in chrome, brushed chrome, brushed brass, polished brass or black with matching slippered feet.

Ideal for today’s multi-purpose kitchen/living spaces, the freestanding console can be custom designed to serve the kitchen/dining area as a butler’s sideboard, can be used as a drinks station or can be fitted out to provide zone-specific storage wherever needed.

Designed and built in their Yorkshire workshops, the new piece celebrates 45 years of British craftmanship and perfectly encapsulates Martin Moore’s signature style, heritage and workmanship. For the month of October, any client who commissions a Martin Moore kitchen will be eligible for a complimentary Butler’s sideboard.

Uniquely defined by individuality and outstanding British craftsmanship, all of Martin Moore’s furniture is traditionally, custom-built in their Yorkshire workshops. They also undertake the entire installation, including fitting, painting and worktops. Dedicated to promoting British craft and design, Martin Moore collaborate with other likemided companies who share their commitment to protecting and supporting British skills.
