Introducing ... Gainsborough

20 Aug 19

Established in 1903, and with a reputation as the go-to name in historic restorations, it also produces bespoke fabrics for many contemporary names in fashion and interiors, from Russell Sage to Paul Smith and Giles Deacon.  As custodians of one of the most important fabric archives outside the V&A’s, and its own design studio, Gainsborough plays a unique role in preserving both Britain’s textile heritage and its future.
