Now Lapicida have introduced a new take on this classic floor; creating perfect facsimiles of wood parquet in porcelain, making it infinitely more practical for everyday life. Indistinguishable from the real thing, it has all the colours and grain textures of the wooden original, but none of the maintenance. Wear and tear, fading, scratches and splinters all become things of the past, along with waxing, sanding and sealing.
Lapicida’s incredibly durable porcelain parquet comes in two classic collections, ‘Versailles’ and ‘Parquet’. Together they offer two different designs in a wide range of natural timber colours, from a pale, limed oak to a dark antique.
Supplied in large tiles, they are easy to install and a very clever way to get an authentic look at a fraction of the cost of the real thing.
