Introducing Vero Fabrics: A Luxury and Timeless British Brand at George Spencer Designs

Vero Fabrics is the latest brand to be represented exclusively byGeorge Spencer Designsin the UK. A fellow British company, Vero Fabrics was founded in 2016 by Amanda Purves and Ottilie Stevenson. With their extensive knowledge and experience with textiles, the duo set out to produce beautiful yet durable fabrics for interiors in the residential, hospitality and marine sectors, combining heritage weaving techniques and modern designs to produce timeless and luxurious fabric designs.
From original ombres and textured weaves to elegant plains and geometrics, each design in Vero Fabrics’ Residential edit is expertly woven to order on jacquard looms in select UK mills - including Gainsborough in Sudbury, Suffolk - using sumptuous wools, silks, cotton and linens. For hospitality projects, the designs are woven in Trevira, which meets all the necessary FR requirements yet still offers bespoke colour options too.
With a strong focus on customisation, many of Vero Fabrics’ designs can be modified to produce perfectly tailored fabric. Colourways, border size and pattern positions can all be adapted to ensure the fabric and design perfectly fits any brief.
Many of Vero Fabrics’ designs feature intricate decorative borders, which are cleverly woven into the design by jacquard loom rather than appliqué. An innovative technique, woven borders give the fabrics a seamless look and feel, ensuring they have a beautifully consistent finish and hang flawlessly when used as curtain panels.
Vero Fabrics is the go-to British designer for luxury ombré designs, having developed a unique technique for creating sophisticated bespoke ombré fabrics for many prestigious residential and hospitality projects. A timeless and highly versatile style, Vero Fabrics’ ombré designs can be woven in custom colours across a mix of different yarns. The gradation can also be adjusted according to the height of the window.
