Bespoke Home Office from Martin Moore

With around 40% of people now homeworking at least once every week, it has become more important than ever to have a dedicated workspace within the home.

Bespoke kitchen makers
Martin Moore have designed several purpose-built office spaces alongside their main kitchens.  Because the furniture is entirely built to order in their Yorkshire workshops, it means every inch of the space can be used effectively and designed entirely around the client’s needs.

Whether it is re-configuring a quiet corner of the kitchen, re-designing an existing room, or creating an entirely new space, Martin Moore designs bespoke workspaces which strike the perfect balance between work and family life; cleverly incorporating storage and desk space and placing sockets in convenient locations for laptops, phones and tablets.

The home office shown here showcases the new Deco Umbra collection; characterised by a signature shadow gap and recessed bead, the range has a streamlined, pared-back aesthetic, but offers limitless decorative possibilities by incorporating statement materials from veneers and metallics to ceramics and porcelains. Its sleek linear look was perfect for creating this calm, well-defined workspace, whilst the variety of materials available allowed the owners to opt for a statement black marble-effect porcelain and antiqued mirror backdrop to the main cabinetry run, adding character and style to the space. Ample storage was included throughout, providing dedicated space for printers, book collections, electrical goods and stationery.
