With the benefit of a designer’s eye, Summer Williams devised a clever floorplan, at the heart of which was Drummonds’ magnificent freestanding cast iron Usk bath, centred under the window. There is a deliberate symmetry in this bathroom, with mirrors, lights and taps also carefully aligned. A simple colour palette of silvers and whites is carried throughout, underlining the sense of space and peace, with built-in storage keeping clutter out of sight to enhance this calm feeling.
Drummonds’ freestanding Double Ladybower vanity forms another key focus point in the bathroom and its richly figured Arabescato top is echoed inside the large shower enclosure, creating the sense of a grand wet room within a relatively compact area.
The brassware throughout the entire bathroom is also from Drummonds, cast using the lost wax process to create weighty pieces with a forever feel. From taps to baths, Drummonds manufacture their products using traditional processes; an investment in quality which gives them unique permanence and beauty.
