The Art of Christmas

31 Oct 18

Richard Allan was a major name in the explosion of pattern and colour which defined the art and fashion of London in the 1960s. Worn by countless celebrities, his printed silk scarf designs remain iconic pieces of art, still highly collectable today.  His daughter, the designer Cate Allan, tracked down her father’s archive and has recoloured six designs to create a brilliant new collection of Limited-Edition art prints for interiors.

The perfect Christmas present for anyone with an eye for graphics and colour, the prints come framed or unframed and make joyously bold design statements.  Every image looks great on its own, but the temptation to start a collection is almost irresistible…

Each of the six Richard Allan original archive designs comes in three of Cate Allan’s contemporary colourways.

Hand printed on museum grade paper in Limited Editions of 100, every print is embossed with the Richard Allan London seal, and produced in the UK.

Measuring 79cm x 81cm, they come unframed and framed in black, white, gilt or silver frames. Bespoke colourways, sizes and special frames are available to order.
