HOUSE OF HACKNEY SHOOT AT DRUMMONDS SHOWROOM
MAY 8TH 2015

House of Hackney are well known for their bold, colourful prints, seen on everything from furniture to clothing. Their raison d’etre is to “take the beige out of interiors”, with all their products made in England.

For summer 2015, House of Hackney have just launched a brand new Conservation Series of wallpaper prints “synthesising Art deco and Toile du Jouy with our penchant for the animal world”. The prints feature a menagerie of animals, from flamboyant flamingos to prowling leopards.

The wallpapers were shot in Drummonds’ Kings Road showroom and feature their classic vanity basins and baths. House of Hackney’s aesthetic is strongly influenced by English heritage with a modern twist, so Drummonds’ designs make for a perfect partnership. Products featured include Drummonds’ Double Hebdern vanity basin in dramatic black Nero Marquina marble and the Usk bath in a striking antiqued brass finish.

5% of proceeds of the wallpaper will be donated to the Born Free Foundation, an international wildlife charity, supporting their conservation and animal welfare work around the globe.
